I am Christopher Shaun Godwin, a Cloud Platform Engineer (GCP) with 25+ years delivering enterprise-scale infrastructure, CI/CD platforms, and cloud-native solutions.

The work I am most proud of:

• Architected customer login applications on GCP handling 2M+ daily authentications across multi-region GKE clusters with 99.99% uptime.
• Reduced deployment cycles 80% and moved release frequency from weekly to daily.
• Migrated 50+ pipelines from Jenkins to GitLab CI, completing 3 months ahead of schedule with zero production incidents.
• Managed estates of 500+ nodes and built developer platforms that accelerated delivery velocity 3-5x.

I work best where application engineering meets infrastructure: I design the platform, the pipelines, and the reliability practices that let product teams ship.

What I want next: a staff+ or principal-level role in cloud, DevSecOps, or platform engineering at an IPO-stage company — building systems that scale, automating the boring parts, and making infrastructure a competitive advantage.
